Born and raised on Bakura, Lynmeira was the only child to imperial politician Taryana and merchant Harel Verashy. From a young age, she began learning other languages and dialects, in the idea of becoming an interpreter. Her talents were mostly valuable for her family's corporation, which gave her the opportunity to travel to many planets and meet new people.
After having secretly studied the history of the Jedi for years, as well as the morals they defended, Lynmeira had felt the need to join the Order, hoping for more purpose in her life. She was also drawn to do so, as she was wondering whether her empathic gift could be Force related. Yet, the Jedi were said to have been eradicated from the galaxy, so she kept working for her family's business.
During an accidental pit stop on an isolated space station, she met a survivor from the purge, the first Jedi she had actually met. Shortly after, she was taken under Tullya Aragast's wing, a Togruta female Jedi. Lynmeira grew a lot as a person during her years with her, despite how it permanently severed her ties with her family, for she knew it was a one-way ticket to choose this new life.
Tullya had got sick some time prior to the purge, but even with her healing talents, as well as her pupil's, the Togruta's life was declining. They were both hoping to find a good place for the Master to spend the last years of her life, but they got in a skirmish with pirates and barely managed to escape and ended on the ice-covered lIlum. While Lynmeira was adamant to go elsewhere, Tullya fell in love with the planet; and Lynmeira was able to convert a small abandoned outpost into a home for them both.
Lynmeira is primarly a healer and herbalist. After a few months on Ilum, she converted part of the outpost into a plant nursery for the many seeds she had carefully gathered during her many travels with Tullya.
The Jedi remained on Ilum even after Tullya passed away. She adopted two Asharl Panthers, and did some commerce with her plants and medicine with some of the scattered settlements across the planet, mostly relying on her T-47 airspeeder Ingmal (hunting cry in Kaleesh language).
