| Nerolia was born in the Clan of the Lavender Right, and is a childhood friend of Anjali Raskor. She trained to become a leather worker and tailor, beginning her education at a young age.
Her Force potential manifested in her strong bond with elemental forces.
When the cataclysm that ravaged Dathomir happened, she was far away from her Clan, traveling to find new plants for dyes. Stranded on her own, it took her months to find survivors, eventually finding the Undead Fires and reuniting with Anjali on time so she could attend her friend's wedding ceremony.
She eventually chose to follow Anjali and live with the Ember Claws. During the long journey to their new home and while they settled in, she got to know the Clan's Healer, Ashia, and easily fell in love with her. From early on, she noticed that one of the men, Kavan Siron, also appeared to have an interest in the healer, which was difficult to reconcile for Nerolia, having grown in a Clan that mostly used men for breeding and sexual entertainment besides their work. While she got involved with Ashia, she realized that Kavan was doing his best to raise above his position as not only a slave but also an outsider. His earnest - and mutual - affection for her companion made her willing to accept him in their life, despite how it required her to rethink some of her worldview.
