Biography
|
| Kamurda was found as an orphan by Brother Meynar from the Azurite Seas Clan. Her lineage remains unknown but she was sometimes referred to as Kamurda from the Kyanite Waterfalls, for this was where her adopted father found her. While her father remained in a subaltern position due to cultural standards, his remarkable work as the ink master of the Clan allowed him to be her parental figure, even though she learned much from various Sisters in the clan.
Wanting to honor the man who had saved her life, she originally turned her creativity towards his craft, and learned under his tutelage. Yet some sisters also caught how she had a natural way to find what resonated with people in artistic and holistic aspects, and she learned pottery and amulet crafting as well.
Her magick manifested through how attuned she could be to people' auras, and to a lesser degrees to the spirits lingering in the realm of the living.
When the cataclysm occurred, her Clan wasn't threatened right away, but ash rains and polluted waters ravaged the enclave; and they had to flee. The original survivors scattered. Kamurda and a couple other Azurite members eventually made their way to one of the reformed Clan; but Kamurda soon found herself on the go again. Unable to explain it except through magick nudging, she decided to follow Clan Mother Anjali to the Ember Claws.
