| Anjali was born in the Clan of the Lavender Rift. Her blood line was strong with many Shadow Killers and Sisters of the Voritor (her mother was one of them). From a young age, the Clan Mother, Arala, had taken a keen interest in Anjali. The Dathomiri still remembers the first words Arala told her when she was only a child:
She who looks beyond what you can see.
You who listens beyond what she can hear.
The lava blurs all lines.
Befriending her mother's Voritor when a toddler, Anjali was trained to become her Clan's Beast Warden as she grew up.
When she was in her early twenties, a cataclysm happened. She was unable to save her younger twin sisters Lyta and Lira, whom she had been raising; but she fought to take the survivors to another area, a safe and free one, they could claim to rebuild a home.
Anjali eventually became the Clan Mother for the reformed group of those who survived the cataclysm, the Undead Fires. Shortly after these events, she recently chose Lead Huntress Cearia Tserta as her mate, and they were wedded before the whole Clan and the gods.
During their Keryon Gedanes, Anjali and Cearia followed signs towards a volcanic zone far away from the Undead Fires enclave, where they met Matier and other survivors. Anjali, her mate, and other survivors eventually united with Matier's group and became the Clan of the Ember Claws.
The Clan Mother has three beasts bound to her: Iss-Ka her Voritor, Vitti, her Rancor, which she both found during the cataclysm, as well as Rora, her flier, sibling to her mate's.
Anjali is currently pregnant with her first child. With Cearia's blessing, she chose Matier's son, Arikos, to father her heir, in a symbolic way to fortify the Clan of the Ember Claws.
