| Tybalt is the first born to House Des Fontaines's Lord Geoffrey and Lady Amara. The Des Fontaines House has been lesser Tapani nobility for centuries. The world they govern, Garobi, is located in the Barnaba Province. The Des Fontaines have been under sort of disgrace for the past decades for the family has always expressed how they believed that House Barnaba should have rallied House Mecetti instead of House Melantha. Yet, the Des Fontaines have maintained enough money to make their world prosper, thanks to much agricultural commerce, as well as some luxury fabrics.
Raised to be an accomplished man, Tybalt realized young that nothing would change for his family and home world unless the many representatives from Houses Barnaba and Melantha keeping watch of local governance were taken care of. He knew that it would require time and a lot of preparation and networking. His family needed allies of many sorts. It was why he decided when in his mid-twenties to go off the grid, become Tybalt Stryder and establish himself as private investigator and infochant in the Tapani Sector.
