Biography
|
| Hildegard Modries is the result of genetic manipulations conducted by her Arkanian father, Ekor Modries, to mix his genes and her human mother's (Lorenza). Ekor fell in love with the "superb genes" the human woman possessed and Lorenza was fascinated by the Arkanian, agreeing to marry him in secret. She insisted on carrying their daughter but something went wrong, illness plaguing her, and she died at childbirth. Hildegard was rejected by the Arkanian side of the family but her father insisted on watching over her and they moved to Dzass IV, where her father could contribute to the Lunis-Medix Medical Academy.
Hildegard grew up with sharp curiosity and a never ending thirst for knowledge. She followed into her father's scientific footsteps, and studied to become a Xenobiologist, with a focus on Cybernetics. Her success earned her a scholarship for doctoral research at the University of Sanbra. Following completion of her degree, Hildegard returned to the Lunis-Medix Medical Academy on her home world, to work as Advisor for the Implant Research Project, building new generation implants.
