Mostly raised by Deena, her nanny, she had an interest into flying ships from a young age. Indeed, Deena was a former imperial pilot who ended her service after becoming paraplegic. While she was offered to stay in another position, Deena had chosen to go into private sector. She originally worked for the Larson as personal pilot, but eventually turned nanny to Clea who spent all her time when not in school with her.

After graduating at 16 from high school, Clea enrolled in planetary military academy and graduated at age 21. She also received a scholarship to study and later work as a geologist for the military, which was encouraged and needed with the planet's famous shipyards. Finding new mineral resources was important, as well as management of the current ones. Clea has experience traveling to several planets and serving as freighter and larger craft pilot, besides her scientific work.

As per custom, she served in her home world armed forces for ten years, before being able to choose another employer. Clea's mandatory service is ending soon and she is looking into options.
