A very old corporation that began as Ubrikkian Transports, producing personal repulsorcraft for the old Republic. By modern times it had diversified, taking the name Ubrikkian Industries. The core business still focused on the a broad selection of repulsorcraft, from skiffs and repulsortrucks to luxury landspeeders and sail barges. A selection of airspeeders is manufactured by Ubrikkian Repulsorlift Manufacturing, and interstellar craft are built at the Ubrikkian Yards. Additionally, Ubrikkian Steamworks meanwhile produces a selection of medical and labour droids.
Following the Clone Wars, and after the Galactic Empire had annexed much of what had once been Hutt Space - including Ubrikkia - Ubrikkian Industries was acquired by Kuat Drive Yards as a means of breaking into a lucrative new market with the Hutt Cartel. They increased the emphasis on utility craft, and also pursued a number of military contracts, producing repulsortanks and troop transports. Ubrikkian Transports was moved to a new headquarters in the Ubrikkian Trade Tower on Tatooine, and was rebranded to custom-produce luxury vehicles and ships for wealthy customers in the Outer Rim, with Ubrikkian Private Shipwrights handling most of the construction work.
After the Alliance-Imperial Treaty separated Ubrikkia and Tatooine from Kuat Drive Yards' holdings in Imperial space, the corporation was acquired by the Ouishii Kajidic. They merged Ubrikkian Industries with their existing holdings: Ubrikkian Steamworks received Rossum Droidworks and Baktoid Industries as new subsidiaries; Ubrikkian Transports gained the solar sailer manufacturer Huppla Pasa Tisc Shipwrights Collective as part of it's luxury yacht infrastructure. When the Ouishii Kajidic obtained special legal dispensation to manufacture certain Baktoid Industries products, this was done under Ubrikkian Industries licences.
