Greater Javin

The Greater Javin was a vast region of space in the Outer Rim Territories that encompassed the Anoat, Javin, and Yarith Sectors. The Corellian Trade Spine ran directly through the region, along with the Lutrillian Cross, Nothoiin Route, and the Ison Corridor.

Due to budget cuts and a shortage of loyal politicians, the Greater Javin had been organised as a single administrative region after the Battle of Endor, overseen by a single Moff. With insufficient resources to effectively administer such a broad region however, the Moff was forced to focus his attention on several priority systems - mostly in Javin and Yarith - allowing worlds like Bespin, Polmanar, and Darlyn Boda to become rife with corruption, and with rebel and criminal activity.

In 3 AE, Moff Ceto Rübezahl was given administrative authority over the former Anoat Sector, to bring those rebel systems back in line with Imperial rule. This coincided with a military operation - to counter piracy and smuggling in the region - led by Admiral Travis North; and with the fortification of Cloud City on Bespin under the leadership of Baroness Administrator Sanya Tagge.
