Pre-Reset

The Empire

Born in Coruscant to a noble family with good connections with the imperials, Marcus along with his siblings quickly rose in the Imperial Academy ranks, excelling in their studies and becoming prominent officers of the Galactic Empire as well as elite members of the Coruscant aristocracy. The previous generation to Marcus had done a good job in hiding their true identity, seeking to live a relatively comfortable life free of persecution and educating their children on the subject well.

However, their secret somehow was uncovered, the Marzullo residence raided as a result. Marcus' youngest brother Perseo along with the entire previous generation were killed during the struggle, and Hades went missing. It was up to the three surviving brothers to go back into hiding. Marcus chose to resume contact with Branch B and C and take them into the Outer Rims, where they would hide for nearly two decades while Pollux took his family to hide in Corellia, and Castor took his to Tattooine.

Itala's Draft

The great gathering of Marzullos overwhelming voted Marcus as their leader, but rather than assume power, he decided to resume the old laws of Sol and declared three elders to rule while the heir to Sol Marzullo's throne was missing. Hannibal, Atlas and Marcus himself were elected to rule until the family until death. Nearly twenty years later, a young man by the name of Itala shows up, claiming to be the rightful ruler and DNA tests are soon conducted, proving the man right. The elders would remain the wisest leading figures regardless.

The three would carefully smuggle the summoned members of the three branches, filling up the ranks in Ziost and Albion quickly until the empire bagn suspecting something, stopping immediately and cleaning up their tracks. Nothing would be left to chance. Branch C later would become the subject of controversy thanks to the exposure of Cyrus Marzullo, a giant and deformed man who crushed Itala's ideas of perfection. Cyrus had become Itala's reason to stop the draft and trust in Branch C's gene pool.

Post-Reset

Dante's Revolution

The one grown the most resentful had been Tiranna Marzullo, mother of Cyrus and elder candidate, who secretely began making deals with Radda Manthys to overthrow and kill Itala. A plan is deviced to pit the elders and Branch C against Itala's followers, initially working wonders for the plotters, resulting in many family deaths.

However, the elders found out about the plot in the nick of time, instantly becoming the targets of the traitors and succumbing under the horrific wrath of the clone Ithella. Marcus now remains the last surviving elder and protector of Itala's heir, Ares, fighting where he is needed the most.

Out of Character

Marcus Marzullo is played by Julian also, having too many important plot points planned with the character.

Trivia

• By an astonishing coincidence, the three elder plotline had been created 6 years before the release of the Underworld movies, who share a very similar storyline with the vampire elders. As a return gesture, Julian uses the elder Viktor as the character image for Marcus and the elder Amelia as a character image for Tiranna Marzullo.

• Marcus is portrayed by Bill Nighy, famous for roles in the Underworld movies and the Pirates Of The Caribbean sequels.
