Design

The Grappler-class is the next chapter in the 418 frame saga. It takes design concepts from the Vindicator, Enforcer, and Immobilizer for a mix that makes this a true multi-role cruiser. The subtraction of two Interdiction wells gives the Grappler-class excess power for more weapons and increased fighter complement while maintaining Interdiction capabilities. Designed with the ideal of a one ship patrol force capable of carrying out any mission assigned it the Grappler boasts a higher troop complement for assault missions as well as stronger shielding and armor for stellar combat.
