The Allegeance is the smaller, more advanced sibling of the Praetor. Like its predecessor it was tasked with group command.

Design

Designed to replace the older and much larger Praetor Star Battle Cruisers. The main battery of these large vessel a the twelve large octuple Barbettes, 6 each flanking the superstructure, and the nine long range heavy ion cannons along the port and starboard rim. other heavy and medium turbolaser batteries are distributed along the rim and on the dorsal and ventral hull. Twenty ion cannons line the prow, 10 to each rim, for disabling smaller vessels. Twenty assault torpedo tubes located at the base of the superstructure, eight forward, six port and six starboard, form the bombardment battery of the Allegiance. Mean as orbital bombardment weapons many imperial commanders have found they can be used for ship to ship duty also.

The Class was designed as a Heavy Support and Command vessel and therefor was not fitted with large hangers for fighters and bombers. A small hanger on the forward ventral side houses shuttles and can accommodate small personal transports. the lack of fighter craft means these vessels are meant to work with other vessels and escorts which provide fighter support, and can not operate individually like most other ships of its class.
