Princess Elaine is the Chume ta' (princess) of Hapes. She is the firstborn daughter of Queen Mother Ishara. As the first and only living daughter of the Queen Mother, Elaine will eventually inherit the throne of Hapes. As a consequence of this, her hand is much sought after. Her brother Prince Tristan is very protective of her.
