Raised from the time he was a child in a monastery on Dantooine that had been established by a Jedi many years before, Reginald's life learnings consisted of archaic teachings and view points of The Force - in terms of Ashla (the Light Side), which was to be revered and considered sacred and Bogan (the Dark Side) which was to be avoided contact with at any cost. Though from his very beginnings Reginald never quite got along with the teachings he felt practically bludgeoned with. He often found himself questioning why the seemingly weaker aspect of Ashla was revered while Bogan shied away from. When it was discovered that he was Force Sensitive, like another member of the Brotherhood, it was seen as a gift. Though once more Reginald was forced to question his order when they quite simply told him that it was not his place to seek out any way to enhance that gift. The feelings of hatred he harbored towards the Brotherhood caught the attention of a Sith living on the planet, and she called to him in his dreams. Finding her teachings far preferable and sensible to those of the Brotherhood he followed her wishes. The final plunge he took into the Darkside came in the form of his slaughtering the members of the Brotherhood (save for his actual brother, Desmond), and burning the entire monastery to the ground.
