|'''Thermodynamic Telekinesis''' - after bugging her brother [[Tom Harriman|Tom]] for a cool-sounding way to describe her powers, she settled upon this term; in essence, her ability is to cause the molecules in an object to vibrate, generating heat. The ability is most intense in close or direct contact with her skin; even a few millimetres of separation radically lessens their effect. Though initially discovering her powers as a means of causing contact burns, she has applied her artistic imagination to the ability, and uses it for various means such as causing combustion, or heating metal bars sufficiently to make them malleable enough to bend with her bare hands.

Since his ability was never explored, it's upper limit is completely unknown: the only times he has used his ability have been to weigh down objects during strong wind storms, or to disable and restrain assailants without doing (serious) harm.

Daniel Myers is a fairly normal and unassuming individual, who spent most of his life serving as an administrative officer in the United States Air Force. He has a wife - Samantha - who, as of June 2009, was pregnant with their first child.

Unfortunately for Daniel, a doppelganger from an alternate universe found his way to Earth, while Daniel was on deployment overseas. That parallel twin - calling himself Captain Dan Myers - established himself as a superhero and media icon, attracting the attention of Vanguard. In the interests of avoiding a public incident, Vanguard felt it necessary to cover up the existance of alternate realities: but the alternate Myers had drawn too much attention to himself to simply be made to disappear.

It was decided that the two versions of Daniel Myers would need to become one, with the other being removed from the equation. The alternate Dan Myers now posesses all of the memories of the "real" Daniel Myers, and has taken over living his life.

Powers/Abilities
Gravitational Manipulation - Though Daniel was aware that he posessed a mutated x-gene, he had made little effort to explore his powers. Unlike his alternate reality twin, who can reduce the effective weight of an object, Daniel has the ability to increase the effect of gravity on anything he touches, making it experience the Earth's gravitational pull several times over. Since his ability was never explored, it's upper limit is completely unknown: the only times he has used his ability have been to weigh down objects during strong wind storms, or to disable and restrain assailants without doing (serious) harm.

Jace has been around on the site since January 2007. He knows all the things, including board lore, random trivia, and really really terrible jokes and puns.
