History

He was born 28 BBY on the planet Anaxes. He was the only child of Ione and Sithero Saye. Ione died in 18 BBY because of an attack by a small group of rebels. One of them blew up her work building, and she died along with 741 other Anaxsi, making it the most tragic event for a decade. Sithero had enlisted in the Imperial Navy and commanded a small fleet. He was granted leave for mourning. Sithero continued to be a role model for Saye, teaching him the ideals of Imperial life, making Saye a devout loyalist.In 1 BBY, Saye enlisted in the Imperial Naval Academy on Anaxes. He was immediately placed in the Command class, quickly rising through the classes. He earned top scores in strategy, command, and loyalty. At the age of 32, in 4 ABY, he graduated from the Academy. He was given the command of a Victory Star Destroyer, the Abolisher and was assigned to Sector 1866, under the watch of Moff Joran Greth. In 5 ABY, his father was killed in a small skirmish near the Atzerri system. Saye continued his career despite the loss, and avenged his father by defeating a Rebel attack on Bastion, which the Rebel fleet had accidentally stumbled upon. Luckily, no communications were transmitted in time. As a reward for his brave actions, Saye was awarded a new house in Valc VII, the center of Sector 1866. Since Saye spent most of his time in space, he sold the house and bought a Carrack Cruiser and crew, which he named the Toad. He wasn’t allowed to command the Toad until the assault on the Courageous in 8 ABY. In 5 and 6 ABY, Saye went on a tour of duty, serving the Empire wherever he was needed. He started the tour eight months in his career, and served for a year. Eight months after his return, he discovered a Rebel base and fleet near sector marker 1866. He defeated the fleet with minimal losses and managed to obtain information on a Rebel rendezvous point. After the battle, the Abolisher was sent to the drydocks, and Saye was given command of the Imperial Star Destroyer Vindictive. He and Moff Joran Greth followed the trail to an abandoned Rebel freighter. After obtaining the coordinates for the second rendezvous point, Moff Joran Greth and Saye battled a Rebel fleet there, defeating them. Finally, Greth and Saye found the Courageous, a Lucrehulk-class battle ship with four Dreadnaught-class ships attached to it. Escorting it was a Rebel fleet, which included a Dauntless-class cruiser.. Greth and Saye defeated the ships and Saye was awarded his own battle squadron. He was promoted to Captain of the Line, and commanded the Vindictive, the Abolisher, another Victory Star Destroyer named the Prejudice, a Vindicator Heavy Cruiser named Bastion’s Pride, two Strike Medium Cruisers named the Tyrant and the Ravager, the Toad, another Carrack Light Cruiser named the Mynock, and Imperial Patrol Frigate named the Star Eagle, two Bayonet Light Cruisers named the Lucky Shot and the Blaze, and three Assassin Corvettes named the Gundark, the Night, and the Shadow.
