The Eldest Brother

The Eldest Brother Casino and Resort is an establishment in Kor Vella, Corellia, owned and operated by Reeouurra Inc. While operated a legitimate hotel and casino, it also provides a front for Black Sun operations on Corellia.

Resort Facilities

In addition to more than three hundred rooms and several VIP suites, The Eldest Brother offers an award-winning day-spa, a broad selection of sporting and recreational facilities, and a state-of-the-art conference centre which offers discounted rates for events that benefit local businesses and tourism.

Rishi Maze Adventure Park

Boasting "extra-galactic thrills for all ages!", the Rishi Maze Adventure Park is an amusement park offering an assortment of attractions, rides, and other events. A highly trained and attentive staff allows The Eldest Brother's young visitors to enjoy the park without needing parental supervision. The park boasts a number of award-winning rides, many of which are themed after exotic galactic and extragalactic locales.

Bars & Restaurants

The Eldest Brother boasts twelve different eating and drinking establishments, providing numerous cuisines from across the galaxy.

Deep Core Cantina

The largest and most family-friendly restaurant, the Deep Core Cantina is a space-themed eatery that offers food familiar to residents of the Core and the Colonies, but with an exotic gourmet twist. The restaurant is allegedly decorated with relics and artefacts from planets in the Deep Core, though their authenticity is somewhat suspect. The kitchen is run by Miko Mori, a renowned gourmet chef who, in addition to working at The Eldest Brother, presents a series of haute cuisine lectures at the University of Coronet (in exchange for various tax benefits for the casino).

Gino's Spa & Grill

An annex to The Eldest Brother's award-winning day-spa, Gino's Spa & Grill is an establishment that combines the pampering and relaxation of a spa with the finest and tastiest health foods in the known galaxy. While it's attentive staff of masseuses and beauty therapists from exotic worlds focus on relaxing the body and mind, it's critically-acclaimed chefs and baristas prepare an equally pleasurable experience for the palette and stomach. Their goal is to prove that being healthy doesn't just feel good: it can taste good too.

MIRROR

MIRROR is a gourmet boutique that predominantly serves Xagoban food: a cuisine where various fungi are the primary ingredients. Where MIRROR differs from other mushroom bistros is the unique flair it places in it's flavour combinations and presentations: ingredients that sound seemingly incomparable on paper, paired various harmless but visually impressive compounds and vapours to simulate the spore-laden clouds of Xagobah. MIRROR's head chef is Silas, a Pazwan.

Kibi Strip

An adult-themed club and restaurant, Kibi Strip boasts some of the finest exotic dancers on Corellia. Far from the average seedy strip club found elsewhere on the planet, Kibi Strip not only caters to the lustful and culinary desires of it's patrons, but also showcases a mesmerising array of exotic and sensual dance displays from across the galaxy. Dancers are not restricted to the stage, but also act as barmaids and waitresses, allowing the audience to feel truly immersed in the experience. Kibi Strip's cuisine focuses on flavour over presentation: after all, it won't be your plate that you'll be looking at.

Garrick Kane

A shrewd and canny businessman, Garrick Kane bought out the under-performing Kor Vella Hotel, backed by a sizeable investment from Reeouurra Inc. Kane abandoned almost every image and contract the Hotel had held, and built The Eldest Brother from the ground up, making the most of government grants to promote tourism and mutually-beneficial arrangements with local businesses to squeeze out as much profit as possible, most of which was poured back into the business to cultivate it's profitability still further. Particularly adept at navigating the latest trends and public opinion, Kane not only relies on conventional marketing techniques to promote The Eldest Brother, but also uses charitable connections and community outreach programs to cultivate the most positive public image possible. Recently, Kane has been investigating the possibility of investing in other areas of the entertainment industry, such as music and holovids.

Given the important role that The Eldest Brother plays in laundering Black Sun finances and providing a front for their operations on Corellia, Garrick Kane's prominent position makes him something of a de facto kingpin: if anything goes down on Corellian soil, Garrick Kane almost certainly had a hand in facilitating it.

Ruo

While Garrick Kane juggles The Eldest Brother's finances and public image, his long-suffering but ever-dependable deputy Ruo manages the casino and hotel on a day to day basis, dealing with employees and patrons alike. Though notorious among co-workers for his occasionally grudging and grumbling nature, he always presents a friendly and professional face to customers; possessing a near-perfect memory, Ruo has an uncanny ability for remembering and recognising returning guests and further reinforcing the resort's positive reputation.

Ruo also plays an important part in juggling the off-the-books side of the casino's business. A failed law enforcement officer from a family of law enforcement officers, Ruo's familiarity with CorSec's workings is a constant benefit to Black Sun.

Miko Mori

Something of a celebrity chef on Corellia, Miko Mori is perhaps best known for presenting the eating-on-a-budget holoseries Pay Less, Cook Mori. The series' end - after several popular years of being broadcast - was widely lamented; however, the news that Mori had been hired as head chef for the new Deep Core Cantina at The Eldest Brother caused a massive spike in public interest in the as-yet largely unheard of resort. With backing from the casino's charity and public outreach budget, Miko has become the popular face of several healthy eating and healthy living campaigns, particularly in Corellian schools. Further reinforcing The Elder Brother's pledge to "give back" to the community, Miko has recently begun lecturing at the University of Coronet, helping to cook up the next generation of Corellian masterchefs.

Silas

A somewhat startling and intimidating man at first glance, Silas is the most overtly non-human member of The Eldest Brother's staff. The Pazwan is the head chef at MIRROR - a Xagoban fungi boutique - to the amusement of many, given the superficial resemblance he has to a mushroom himself.

Where Silas learned his culinary skills is unknown: for most of his adult life he has served as a mercenary, bounty hunter, and Black Sun enforcer. Feeling himself drawn towards retirement, Silas took the job at The Eldest Brother as a favour to Garrick Kane; what debt Silas was repaying is not entirely clear.
