Portaak amber

Portaak amber was a resin that came from the Portaak leaf. It was a translucent orange-brown in color. A natural fungicide, the Korunnai rubbed their weapons with it to prevent the world's various metal- and silicate-eating fungi from degrading them. Although sticky, the resin did not rub off on users' hands. Along with thyssel bark it was an extremely lucrative trade for jungle prospectors.
