| Helenias Evenstar is from the Unknown Regions, a near human species. She first came into known space on a mission from her home system, but decided to not carry it out and instead, settle on Coruscant. In time, she was recruited into the Imperial ranks and, with a manner of disguise, became one of the few females to ever wear the Red of the Imperial Guard. She was granted the name of Lord Fire Blade and became a fearsome enforcer for the Emperor.
After the empire's fall, she continued to serve what commanders were left. After many long years of struggle, she became more of a free agent, striking against the Rebellion as she saw fit. Her most well known and notorious feat was the destruction of the Jedi Temple when Imperial forces were attacking Coruscant.
She drifted between Imperial factions until what is now known as the Liberation of Arcan IV. Her part was somewhat small, but she was credited in grouping a band of Arcan loyalists against the Governor and helping in destroying several resistance cells. Her whereabouts after that was a mystery until she surprised almost everyone and became a Jedi.
Whilst with the Jedi on their exile on the largely industrialized planet of Arcan IV, she developed a working relationship with the new ruling council. With the Council grateful to the Jedi for their help in their freedom and deference, it was considered that it would be appropriate for a Jedi to be requested to be Arcan's official NR representative. Upon some consultation, the role was offered to Evenstar, who accepted with a great deal of surprise. It was a surprise to many others, as she is known to be not exactly diplomatic in speech and thought - in fact far from it.
Because of this uncompromising manner, she has gained a few enemies and survived assassination attempts. However, she champions the causes of the poor and down-trodden, does no favors for anyone and will act only as she sees fit. Other senators would treat her with a good deal of caution, for a Jedi Senator is not to be treated lightly - especially one who can detect deception.
She has some allies and supports those allies fiercely. Of note, is her dislike and mistrust of business interests.
