Cearia was not originally born a nightsister. Prior to the cataclysm, she lived with the Clan of the Red Hills. Her clan had one of the most populated amount of men and was raised with a more lenient view towards them, however the men were still in a subordinate position. What made her an anomaly within the clan, and her own family line, is she was born without the ability to sense the Force. The Tserta line had long served the Clan Mother as guards and advisors, but that would not be true with Cearia's deficiency. Being born without the ability to use the Force did not mean young Cearia was not without talent. Early on her mother saw her affinity towards nature - recognizing animals and their tracks, hiding, sharp eyes and ears, and stealthy. She was groomed to be hunter and tracker for the clan. The earliest lessons of Thoughts betray focus. Focus brings clarity remains with her to this day. Though it only holds true when hunting, tracking, fighting - not for her own inner turmoils.
She was well aware of her misfortune but embraced the qualities she did possess, determined to become the best hunter of the Red Hills Clan. Because of thinking herself inferior to most of the other clan members, Cearia kept missing cues of another potential she had - being a Beast Warden. Animals were drawn to her, beasts were easy to find but she attributed that to her gift and training to be a hunter and no one in her clan would argue otherwise. All the Red Hills Beast Wardens had to be able to sense the Force to be trained.
Cearia with war paint during a hunt At the time of the great cataclysm, Cearia was hunting, her life spared as lava consumed her entire village. Her skills alone kept her alive in the aftermath, eventually stumbling upon nightsister spider riders. She dare not make her presence known as the two witches interrogated another survivor. Grateful that the witches were too distracted with the other, she followed the trio to where other survivors had congregated - the Clan of the Undead Fires. It was an amalgamation of any survivor that wanted to pledge allegiance to this new nightsister clan. Conflicted at first as this went against everything she had grown up with, Cearia understood the need to adapt and survive. It was her motto as soon as she could walk and pick up her first weapon - the bow. With that in mind, Cearia pledged herself before Mother Anjali and became a nightsister. A loner by nature, Cearia completed her duties and no more. She brought food and skins to the clan - leading a monotonous life until she stumbled across Mother Anjali and Iss-Ka, the Clan Mother's voritor, after a successful fishing trip. That set events in motion where Cearia led expeditions with Mother Anjali's blessings - bringing livestock to the settlement, passing down her skills to those that showed potential, and even finding baby reptilian fliers that had survived.
During this time, Cearia developed great respect for the Clan Mother, who felt the same about the young hunter. Respect turned to affection not too long after, and the two agreed to become each others mates and eventually wed before the clan.
Still uncertain of her potential as a Beast Warden, despite Iss-Ka acting quite fondly towards the hunter and Anjali's insistence, she is still unconvinced that the baby blue reptilian flier really is bonding with her. However her insecurities and loner nature had tempered since her personal sabbatical prior to the wedding with Anjali. She has become visible around the settlement, focused on keeping her peoples bellies full, but allowing herself to see the fruits of her labors - knowing the clan has hope.
Other Notes

Cearia watching over Anjali during a ceremony
