Biography
Adopted daughter of Commissioner James Gordon, Barbara is 21 and was enrolled at Metropolis University studying computer science. After two years away she returned, deciding to take a year off from school. She works at the Gotham Public Library, and has an investigative blog that she's just starting to get off the ground, titled "Gotham's Dark Corners."
Adopted by the Gordons at the age of 12 when her parents (the elder Barbara Gordon's sister and brother-in-law) were deemed unfit by the courts, Barbara had been in foster care for a few years before being taken in by Jim Gordon. Before she left for college she knew Rick Grayson, a colleague of her adopted father's on whom she had a teenage crush.
She has taken martial arts for years, and is a talented acrobat as well.
