Bio

--Data Corrupted--

Many eons ago a child was born in a backwater planet. The society he was born into was a patriarchy, where a husband’s words were considered law by his family. There were different times and different times required different measures, including harsh and most severe penalties for crimes of any kind.

There was no trial, no hearing, nothing. All it took was for the father of the child (who was now six) to speak the words and amongst his peers, he became judge, jury and executioner; he accused the child’s mother of being unfaithful and then carried out the sentence himself. She was walled up amongst a midst of cries begging for mercy, while imploring forgiveness, only she need not absolution for she was charged with a crime she never committed.

In those days the penalty of being walled, was not a punishment that carried death with it, at least not immediately, it was more of a solitary confinement. The victim was given sustenance through a small orifice in the wall and then left to rot.

The child’s mother however, was a rare case, for she lasted not only weeks or months, but rather years, three to be exact. It wasn’t food that gave her sustenance though, it was the love of her son, who had found an orifice to her underground cell and where he could fit his tiny hand to touch her and give her strength through his caress, until one day her hand reached out to his no more.

Lost and unsure of where to go, Njzrău found shelter in the kindness of a man, who adopted the nine year old as his own. Along with his biological daughter, he provided for them, showered them with love and taught them the tricks of the bounty hunter trade. Never knowing why he was always a step ahead of his prey, or why he could anticipate his opponent’s move in a fight, he went on to become one of the most successful bounty hunters of all time, while amassing a small fortune along the way.

At the peak of his career and when his services were most in demand, he opted for retirement, more like opted for marriage actually, having lost the man he considered his father and his sister, he realized it was time to settle down and start a family of his own at his beloved’s side. Yet, happiness was not in the cards fate had dealt him.

Having returned from what was supposed to be his last contract; he entered his home (located in the richest neighborhood of the city planet, Coruscant) only to find the walls of his loft stained with blood, the blood of Lissania, his fiancée. As wealthy as he was, once again he had lost everything.

As perturbed as he was, he was strangely calm, his head was surprisingly clear and the wheels on his mind were already turning towards the execution of his revenge for he would not be denied. There was no doubt in his mind this was a retaliation of sorts, someone’s petty attempt to get to him. His safe was tampered with, but little was missing, nothing of real value had been taken, so a robbery gone wrong was easily ruled out. And the more he looked at her body, the more he knew they had taken their time, they had made her suffer, she had endured a great deal of pain. He promised himself he would return the favor.

But to even try to narrow the list down to a starting point could prove nearly impossible, he had more enemies than he could even begin to imagine, precisely the reason why he was retiring and yet, somehow he knew exactly where to go. Once again, without his knowing The Force acted as his ally. After several standard months and a good amount of credits, he found Lissania’s murders. He remembered them well, a gang of swoop-bikers-wanna-be mercenaries who called themselves The Krayt Dragons; he had beaten them to a contract and they did not take it well emotionally nor financially, if he recalled correctly, they had lost almost everything actually. Apparently they had gone their separate ways after Lissania’s demise.

True to his promise, Njzrău hunted down each and every one of them: Gaegre'ona, a female Twi’lek; Hordo, a male Rodian; Grraporriwko, a male Wookie; Grepo, a female Bothan and Girthea ‘Lorennyy, a female Gamorrean. Every last one of them, was handed their death but not before being submitted to indescribable tortures. After killing the last one, a Sith Lord by the name of Darth Desaevio revealed himself to Njzrău. He unveiled himself as the architect of Njzrău tragedies, they were supposed to be a test for the bounty hunter.

A test of skill, determination and worthiness…worthiness to become his apprentice and learn the Dark Arts. Unable to grasp the meaning of this, Njzrău charged the Sith Lord, only to be welcomed by a charge of Force Lightning. Unable to even come to his knees, Njzrău could do nothing but agree to Desaevio’s demands and so Darth Mundus was born in a baptism of darkness.

The Sith Lord was pleased with his student’s progress but Mundus was flawed, he was not pure darkness, there were still memories of love, caring and good within him. But the imperfection could be corrected with the Heart of Fire, an ancient magic stone of legend that was supposed to amplify the Dark Side within a living being and wrap him in pure obscurity. Little was it known to Desaevio that replacing Mundus’s heart with the magic stone, would also gift Mundus with the curse of immortality and would condemn him to live in eternal pain and suffering, damning him to die a thousand deaths without ever really dying.

It wasn’t until he outlived his master and several dozen younger apprentices of his own, that Mundus became cognizant of his inability to die, he then also realized that he was not a tool of the Dark Side as his master had made him believe, but rather that the Dark Side was a tool of his and that the way of the Sith was not the way.

Renouncing his Sith ways, he traded his life of solitude for one within society, where he could be Lykaios the entrepreneur by day and Nekhrvn the Dark Jedi by night.
