Xeh Zelaznyi is member of The Rebel Alliance, currently working as a cryptographer and code-breaker for the 'Intentions' sub-branch of Alliance Intelligence. Spared the extinction visited upon the rest of their species by Wilhuff Tarkin, the Zelaznyi's were scientists who worked aboard the infamous Maw Installation, diligently contributing to the development of a number of projects including the now infamous Death Star.
