Very little is known of the man who calls himself Hurucan: a name taken from a Mayan god of storms. He first came to the attention of the authorities in Europe, where he was suspected of being involved with a number of mutant militant activist groups. He is known for his largely anti-Human sentiments, and is wanted by law enforcement agencies in six different countries in conjunction with murder enquiries.

Recently, suspected sightings of Hurucan have been made in the United States. Authorities are concerned that he may become involved with the so-called Brotherhood of Mutants.

Powers

The most prominant side-effect of Hurucan's mutation is his ability to manipulate electric fields and currents, commonly classified as Electrokinesis. This usually manifests in the form of projectile "lightning", although he has been observed to draw electrical energy out of power sources, disrupting electrical appliances and draining internal batteries. He appears to be capable of storing up an electrical charge within his body, to be released later: no indication of the limits on this ability have been observed.

Hurucan is also capable of moving at high speeds: reports on just how fast (supersonic, faster-than-light, etc) differ from source to source.
