Introduction
|
| The Sith Order (TSO) was a Sith roleplaying group that was formed out of the remnants of The Sith Council (lead by Itala Marzullo) in 2000. Along with The Sith Empire, TSO served as one of the 2 primary groups for Sith roleplayers. When The Sith Empire left TheHolo.Net (at the time called SW-Fans.Net) in 2002 TSO remained as the sole Sith group.
Following the roleplaying reset in 2005, the group underwent some minor modifications in order to fit in with the newly established timeline. Changes included moving their home planet from Corellia to Korriban, as well as altering the backstory of the group.
During the years following the group saw a decline in members. TSO finally closed it's doors in 2007.

History

| Post-Reset
The Sith Order was a secret group of Darksiders founded by a man called Lord Bale and located on the planet of Korriban. The original academy was constructed just within the entrance of one of the hundreds of tombs that dot the surface of the planet. Slowly over the course hundreds of years, TSO's numbers swelled and the tomb they lived in became too small. New tunnels were drilled into the back of the tomb and it's size was drastically increased over years of work. Eventually the front of the tomb was abandoned and the sith moved entirely into the newly constructed areas. Work never ceased and the group's underground home was continuously enlarged and improved - it became so large and vast that it came to be called the 'Castle'.
Throughout the existence of TSO there was always a Sith Master ruling over all other Sith. Lord Bale was only the first and hundreds would come and die during the group's existence. Eventually leadership fell onto the shoulders of Sith Mistress Lady Vader. Lady Vader did many things during her rule - one of her greatest achievements was the construction of a Sith "Council" known as the Elders. She appointed Jorshal Vuntana, Yurza Magus, and Zereth Lancer to this council. Together they created the backbone of TSO.
Eventually Lady Vader's rule came to an end when she disappeared from the Castle. She reappeared numerous times to give the remaining Elders advice and to prove she still lived. Not too long afterwards Jorshal Vuntana was promoted to the rank of Sith Master in a extensive ceremony held by Sith Knight Zereth Lancer, and became the new leader of TSO.
Pre-Reset
The Sith Order was founded by the remnants of The Sith Council - disgruntled members who had had enough of Itala Marzullo's iron fisted rule. Determined to create a 'family' of sorts, the new group settled on Corellia.

Forum Structure
|
Major forums included:
- The Sepulchre - where the Sith of the Order gather to discuss important issues that need no hiding from prying eyes.
- The Citadel - the heavily protected dwelling and sanctuary of The Sith Order, deep within the ancient Sith catacombs on Korriban.
- The Sith Library - a vast, ever-growing bank of information, including dossiers on the members of The Sith Order.
- Asteroid Spaceport - a forum for out of character discussions.

Current Status
|
| Throughout it's history The Sith Order had never enjoyed a large group membership as experienced by some of the other groups (notably the Greater Jedi Order and The Sith Empire). Even after the latter's leaving in 2002, TSO still remained a fairly small but active group.
Following the roleplaying reset in 2005 the group's numbers continued to decline. TSO finally closed permanently in 2007 with it's forums being archived on SW-Fans.Net.
