Alliance Combined Defense Force or Alliance Defense Force (ADF) is the combination of all military and security forces of the Alliance To Restore The Republic combined into one all encompassing force. The ADF is charged with defending the Alliance of Free Planets from all enemies both foreign and domestic.

History

Leadership

The Alliance Combined Defense Force is commanded by a group of Officers from every division and branch Force Command is the top commanding body and is lead by the Supreme Commander of Alliance forces Reshmar. A cabinet made up of the commander of each division serves under the Supreme Commander and manages the day to day operations and planning of the ADF. Under the Command Cabinet A joint operations cabinet works to plan individual operations and tasks for the Alliance Defense Forces. This body is made up of seven Fleet Admirals and seven Generals from every branch of the ADF. Below this are the Admirals and Generals who see to the operations of their assigned group.

  • Navy - Navy Command branch deals with organization, operations, and command of the Alliance Defense Fleet and the Alliance Marines.
  • Army - Army Command branch deals with organization, operations and command of the Alliance planetary forces and Armored Corps.
  • Starfighter Corps - Starfighter Command branch deals with organization, operations, and command of the planetary based fighter wings and special operations Squadrons.
• Intelligence - Intelligence Division was the intelligence department of the Alliance Defense Force. It was responsible for all intelligence matters pertaining to the Alliance of Free Worlds. Built on the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Fleet Intel, SpecOps, and Intel departments, The duty of the intelligence division was the detection, investigation and analysis of any potential threats to the security of the Alliance of Free Worlds.
  • Information - This Branch of the Intelligence Division deals with the security of information from various other divisions. The brave individuals of this branch see that any and all data coming through their division, is recorded, archived and locked away safely.
  • Asset Tracking - This branch surveil, studies, and records all military movements by both the Alliance of Free Planets, its allies and its enemies. Operatives known as Watchers often operate deep behind enemy lines risking their lives to keep track of those who would do the Alliance Harm.
  • Special Forces - This Branch plans and carries out all special forces operations for the Alliance of Free Planets.
• Security - Security Division or the Alliance Security Force or ASF, was the the primary law enforcement agency for the Alliance of Free Worlds. The ASF deals with the enforcement of civil and military Law. Operating on every ship, station, and world, the Security forces of the ADF are the most numerous and wide spread force in the Alliance Defense Force.
  • Judicial - The judges, lawyers, and law enforcement personnel of the Alliance of Free Worlds. Dealing in every aspect of law enforcement the officers of Judicial Branch keep the street's, corridor's and homes safe for the Alliance.
  • Customs - The Customs Branch is a small group dealing with the movement of goods through Alliance space.
  • Sector Rangers - The Rangers Branch are the marshals of the Alliance of Free Planets. They travel alliance space and beyond investigating crime and apprehending criminals of the Alliance of Free Planets.
• Science and Technology - The Science and Technology division, previously known as Rebel Alliance Research and Development was the department of the Alliance of Free Planets responsible for developing technology, Educating the population, and Training the military of the Alliance of Free Worlds.
  • Education - This Branch operates the education systems of the Alliance.
  • Training - This branch operates the various military academies and sector training facilities through out the Alliance of Free Worlds.
  • Research and Development - This Branch of the Alliance of Free Planets responsible for developing technology for use by the Alliance Combined Defense Force. Much of their research goes towards the establishment of a new military power to defend the Alliance. New warship classes and espionage droids as but two projects formally being researched.
• Quartermaster- Quartermaster Division or Supply and Ordinance Services, is the branch of the Alliance Combined Defense Forces that manages and supplies the Combined Defense force. With the Formations of the new defense force the 6th fleet of the Alliance to Restore the Republic or Supply services fleet, was divided into smaller self regulating task forces and attached to each fleet.
  • Supply - This branch of the Quartermaster Division supplies the navies and armies of the ADF with supplies, ordinance, fuel and commodities needed for everyday and special operations.
  • Special Operations - This branch of the Quartermaster Division performs special operations outside militant and defensive duties. Utilizing special vessels such as the New Hajen Fleet Tender and other Tugs, Tenders, and evacuations vessels The Quartermaster Division handles the mundane work horse type of tasks needed to keep the Alliance of Free Planets operating smoothly.
