Regulus Starborn is supporter of The Rebel Alliance, currently serving as a Colonel in the Alliance Special Forces. He has spent the majority of his military career in association with the SpecForce SpaceOps Regiment, first as a marine and later as a taskforce commander. His time in the 1st Regiment has given the Colonel a no-nonsense attitude, favouring action over debate.
Command
As a Colonel of Alliance Special Forces, Regulus has command over the 5th Division 1st Regiment, SpaceOps. He has the following companies at his disposal:

- Taskforce Company Yirt
- Order Company Enth
Family
The Starborn family has a long-standing tradition of service to the Republic. Every generation has given numerous men and women into the service of the military, a fact that remains a constant today. Whilst Regulus himself serves in the Special Forces, his youngest son Dashiel and niece Jane both are acting members of Alliance Intelligence. His father was - Australis Starborn - was a General during the Clone Wars, whilst a number of his cousins became ground troopers in the Republic Army or officers in the Republic Navy. By taking Celeste Venatici as his wife, Leonis Starborn introduced a new tradition to the family - that of involvement in the diplomatic and political arena of the Republic - and the Rebel Alliance. The sole living exception to this tradition is Regulus' eldest son, Salvo.
