Jason Na'moda, a fledging hero in a galaxy full of varied people and species in similar positions. Born into humble beginnings, he has risen far, becoming a Jedi Knight, although training might still be needed, an incredible pilot through his own skills, and a relentless warrior for the forces of light in a dark, dark galaxy. Jason has a misison, to find and destroy the Sith, even if he doesn't know what that could mean just yet. He cannot see whether his star will ascend to the heavens or be swiftly and suddenly silenced.

Biography Post Reset

Born on Corellia to Karl and Lucretia Na'moda, Jason Na'moda was a wayward child, brought up in the shadow of his father, a swoop racer whom most people in his town knew. He was never particularly disobedient until his teen years when he rebelled as often as possible, causing his parents much agitation. He was, however, surprisingly insightful, and could often guess what people were thinking, although he never really applied this skill. He took to drinking with his group of friends and racing boosted swoop bikes.

Occupation by the newly formed Galactic Empire did not sit well with Jason and his small group of friends and he did as much as he possibly could to make life hard for the Stormtrooper population. In contrast to his parents' pro-Galactic Empire views, he hated the idea of a loss of democracy and helped out all the anarchic groups who favoured the idea of throwing out the white armoured platoons. Working hard, and becoming more and more disillusioned with the idea of staying on Corellia, Jason bought a ship and travelled offworld, cutting off ties with his parents after a huge row about the right and wrong of what the Emperor was doing with his power.

Jason drifted for a long while, showing aptitude as a pilot and dissident against the Empire. It wasn't long before he found himself amongst a group of mercenaries and fellow rebels, on their way to shake down the Empire power base in the Capital of Naboo. They flew in swiftly in a commercial freighter, touched down, and strolled into the city with weapons hidden. They moved to the Imperial Academy, where the guards to one of the smaller gates was killed. Placing small improvised explosive devices around the place, they set the timer and ran. Throughout this, Jason had stunned the guards where possible, feeling that it wasn't necessary to just kill constantly. There needed to be SOME compassion shown to prove that they weren't simply terrorists but instead freedom fighters. However, he was also the one to get spotted as they ran out the gate, as he was last out. Then it snowballed. Stormtroopers came from everywhere and in the mad dash to their shuttle, most of the group was killed. Leaping into the pilot's seat, Jason took the ship out and raced for the atmosphere, but TIE fighters were on their tail. They shot out the rudimentry turrets on the ship, killing another of the crew and then destroyed the Engines. The shuttle crashed towards the surface and Jason blacked out.

When he came to, the shuttle was dead still, suspended due to the fact that it had impaled itself on a branch of a tree, showering the forest floor in broken parts. His copilot was dead from part of the branch passing through him. The rest of the survivors had been thrown around the place and had bled out from blunt trauma internally and externally before Jason woke. He had only been saved by the crash webbing and pilot's couch. Even so, he was nursing wounds of his own. A bad concussion and a spinal injury. When he tried to leave, he fell and one of the splintered branches caught him on the way down tearing a long gash from his right hip to left shoulder. Jason staggered through the forest until he stumbled across an old hovel and was greeted by the sight of an old man in tattered robes. He collapsed from exhaustion.

Jason was nursed back to health slowly by the old man, whose name was Ka. As he regained his strength, Ka showed some interest in the things he could do, his reflexes and 'intuition'. Jason thought nothing of it, but was grateful for the man saving his life. Without his knowledge, however, Ka was prompting him to rely more and more on his force talent. From things as simple as forcing him to guess which hand his knife and fork were in when eating, otherwise he wouldn't get any, to hunting when he got healthier. The more Jason learnt, the more his natural curiosity about his talents grew. In time, Ka told him everything, how he had once been a Jedi, how he had fought in the Clone Wars. How he thought that Jason could do as well if not better. There was power in the guy, that much was clear, but he needed to be taught to control and access it. Over the course of the next four years, Jason was trained heavily by Ka in the ways of the froce, and how to use a lightsaber. Ka leant Jason his own, since there was no way for the guy to make his own. Jason was taught everything Ka could teach him in the time, and from there they began making excursions of their own. Jason wanted to make the Empire pay for what they did to the Jedi, seeing clearly the lies for what they were. The two began by placing small traps in the way of patrols and harassing the Stormtroopers with Guerilla tactics. Their plan? To achieve Jason's original plan. They made headway quickly, Jason's new skills aiding him greatly in this. They destroyed a couple of small Imperial facilities, more outposts than anything, but made sure that the Locals took back the land for themselves.

During this time of rebellion, Ka taught Jason about a sect of Jedi, the Templars, whose goal it was to unite the Galaxy by leading a Crusade against the Sith. They were the warriors, with incredible prowess with both lightsaber and force, but could make use of other weapons as alternatives. They didn't necessarily remain with the collective, but travelled all over, doing good where they good. Wars were a particular way to make a difference and the will of the force would show them the side to take. Jason knew which side his loyalties lay with, but he understood the grey area which they had to be mindful of. That not every soldier cut down was a mindless drone without a life or beliefs or dreams. Nonetheless, there were only two ways to win a war. And he was going try to find either solution with whatever it took.

The pair's final attack took them to the Imperial Academy in Theed. This time, they were successful and the explosives detonated, destroying the place, but that drew undue attention. A bounty was set and a small army of Stormtroopers combed the forest for the two. It was time to escape the planet. They had been rebuilding Ka's ship with what small amount of spare parts they could scavenge from Jason's ship, even so, both of them leaving had never been an option. Ka had ascertained that long before and told Jason in no uncertain terms that he was to save himself. He was young and could continue the fight, while Ka's long years in seclusion had only made him more frail. It wasn't long before they were directly under attack and immediately, their plans came into effect. With practised precision, Jason leapt into the cockpit with Ka's lightsaber and old astromech. As he took off, Jason saw Ka bringing TIE fighters raining upon the heads of the approaching forces.

Jason returned to roaming the Galaxy, but now more mature and trained. At first he was a lone wolf, rarely using the lightsaber so as not to betray himself, but instead utilising twin Westarr Blaster Pistols of polished Chrome which he took from a Bounty Hunter who had tried to kill him. He generally scavenged what he could from the bodies of those who tried to kill him, including a small jetpack and various bounty hunter gadgets. He continued to adapt Ka's starship too to make it slightly more up to date. He spent some time building his own lightsaber (using a synthetic crystal), since Ka's didn't fit his own grip properly, and made a purple bladed saber which suited his own needs nicely. In time, he heard rumours of the Rebel Alliance and sought them out, deciding to keep his own abilities secret. He became an exceptional fighter pilot and proved his worth time and time again attempting daring raids and incredible rescues with a small squadron but near perfect results, a feature he secretly tacked up to his skills as a Jedi. In addition, Jason trained himself rigorously with the exercises Ka had shown him, building his own prowess in the force, while also training with his lightsaber. In the years leading up to the Battle of Endor, however, Jason was captured while working undercover in Cato Nemoidia and sold into slavery. Beaten and humiliated by the man responsible, Jason was downtrodden in service to a Hutt for four years. After four years of forced labour, he broke free with a group of other slaves and led a riot which claimed the lives of the Hutt and his 'groupies'. In revenge, Jason sought out the man who had condemned him and kept his affects for souvenirs. He very nearly killed the man in cold blood, but settled for ruining him and transferring all his financial investments into Alliance holdings.

Jason returned to the Alliance finding it scattered in the wake of the Battle of Endor, but hope rising from an Enclave of Jedi. Making his way to it, he wished to learn more of the power he supposedly commanded.

Brief History: Built specifically for the use of Jedi Master Ka Ornada during the year 21 BBY, the 'Jedi Interceptor' found by Jason Na'moda was used in several major battles of the Clone Wars and clearly modified continuously throughout to produce a high performance machine which could reach incredible speeds and had slightly more fire power than the stock variety. Lengthened by varied add-ons, the ship was at peak condition when it was struck by an ion cannon, and crash landed on Naboo in 19 BBY. Unable to contact the outside world, initially Ka had no knowledge of Order 66, but after a week of working on the ship, learning slowly, he found out about the tragedy. Struggling initially to survive, Ka managed it and made the decision to remain in hiding. Years passed, but Ka kept himself occupied, building a dwelling and entertaining himself in various ways such as building a small animal nursery for waifs and strays which he picked up on his frequent visits to the jungle environment he landed in. One day, however, a young starfighter pilot crash landed in the forest near Ka. Jason Na'moda. Initially suspicious, Ka recognised the potential in the young man and began slowly and subtly teaching him in the ways of the force during the man's stay in his small home. Soon, however, the Imperial Head-hunters, who had been chasing Jason, found his crashed ship and destroyed it utterly. Ka offered Jason both his lightsaber and ship to escape, while he held off Stormtroopers with Jason's blaster rifle. Ka died. Jason continued modifying the Actis, adding technology of this day and age, tuning it further from the highly efficient war machine that it had been into an even more deadly one to deal with.
