Pre-Reset

The Black Hand were a faction of Dark Jedi, who made their home in Bastle Castle, Vjun. The faction was founded in 2001 by Darth Rane, Delirion and Jeseth Cloak.

Chaos and Order

In it's final incarnation, the group was comprised of the Galaxy's most powerful Darksiders, many of whom had been Sith or Jedi Masters before choosing to follow the path of the Dark Jedi. As is to be expected, with such a large number of powerful and power-hungry individual in one place, the members of The Black Hand scarcely exhibited any unity with one another. Had the group ever banded together, throwing their collective strength behind a single cause, they would have been unstoppable - however their own individual agendas and egos prevented this from happening. In the end it was these conflicting intentions that drove the group apart, causing the members of The Black Hand split - violently - into two independent and opposing factions. Those who embraced chaos - and were loyal to the goddess Vicet - followed Sorsha Kasajian to Ch'hodos, forming the Sisters of Chaos. Those who desired order followed Lilaena De'Ville to the Onderon, forming Kuklos Ataxia.

Members

Gaining admittance into the ranks of The Black Hand was not easy. There were few amongst the Hand who had not already undergone tutelage in use of the Force, whether as Sith or Jedi. As the group had no official leadership, functioning instead as a democracy, all members voted on whether or not a potential new member would be allowed to join. Potential recruits were required to show evidence of character training and development, as well as general experience at SW-Fans. In Character, Hobgoblin acted as the 'gatekeeper' to Bast Castle, challenging those who wished to enter with complex riddles.

The following characters were, at one point, members of The Black Hand:

Most all of the members of The Black Hand carried the title 'Lord/Lordess of...', a moniker which reflected their personality.
