Welcome to the Sample Character Bio Template. This page has been created in order to offer users of the SW-Fans.Net a quick and easy method of creating their own character page. As you can see, the page is divided into a number of different sections, all corresponding to different information to do with the character. On the right is a table of 'vital statistics' and quick facts, which you can use to create a rough portrait of your character. The main body of the article, the Post-Reset and Pre-Reset sub-headings, can be made up of as much or as little information as you like. You may wish to discuss your characters personality, their appearance, their past or any other number of subjects.
To create your character page, simply type the name of your character into the 'Search' box on any page in the wiki. If an article on your character does not already exist, you will be prompted with the option to create this article. For instance, if I have a character called 'Bob' and searched for this character, I will find he does not exist (see the image to the left). To add Bob into the database, all I need to do is click 'create this page'. If you'd like to use this template for your character page, click the 'edit' link at the top of the page. Simply highlight (CTRL+A) and copy (CTRL+C) the text and paste (CTRL+V) it into your character bio.

Hart Kenobi was born 35 standard years before the Battle of Yavin on the planet Reltooine, where he was quickly identified as a potential Jedi and was sent to Coruscant a year later to prepare for training.
The Clone Wars broke out when Hart was only fourteen years old. A padawan to the now deceased Master Ki Adi Mundi, Hart served primarily as a pilot for the Republic Green Squadron, logging 44 kills. Unfortunately, the Jedi were quickly being exterminated around the universe, and Hart - believed then to be the last of the Kenobi Jedi line - was frozen in carbonite after a duel with the terrible Darth Vader. He was to be delivered to the Emperor and serve as decoration in the Emperor's secret trophy room beneath the remnants of the city of Theed, The Naboo.
Twenty-Three standard years after the Battle of Yavin, Hart was freed from the carbonite by Jedi Master Rmaio and those in the Jedi Council. The Jedi Council subsequently merged with another Jedi group to establish the Greater Jedi Order, in which Hart quickly reached the level of Jedi Scholar Knight.
Two years later, at the age of 16, Hart joined JediMaster Skywalker's Rogue Squadron, serving as Rogue 15, once again displaying his skills and valor as an exceptional fight pilot.
Hart has dueled with such foul enemies as Malycia Marzullo at an undisclosed location, Darth Tholuem at Yavin4, Thol Marzullo at the Gungan Battleground, Rama Sha in the mountains of the Naboo, and the Vong Warrior Dark Preteorite Naga at Hoth.
Purchases include an A-Wing from Grand Admiral Thrawn and an X-Wing ("The Catch-22") from Darth Viscera.
Unfortunately, Hart became frustrated with the ways of these new Jedi, who seemed to not understand the traditional meaning of being a Jedi. Coincidentally, this coincided with Hart discovering that he had a terminal illness, a condition from the years he spent in the corrupted carbonite. Hart chose to leave the GJO to live as a hermit on the Naboo to live out his final days.
On his deathbed, Hart received a vision... the universe faced impending doom... and Hart's help was going to be necessary to stop it. Realizing that he had to live long enough to face the danger, Hart forged a medical armor that would temporarily stop the spread of his illness. And so Hart left the Naboo, in search of help against the unknown enemy, as well as a cure to save his life.
Out Of Character
"Hart Kenobi" was the name I used when I decided to first post at SWFans.net, but I did so reluctantly. "Hart" was my OOC name, and "Obi-Wan Kenobi" was the name I RPed under (a distant descendent of the Kenobi line). Unfortunately, CCNet's battleground had started to die off, and so when I decided I would come over here, I was pissed to learn that someone had already registered "Obi-Wan Kenobi" locally at the SWFans ezboard. So I chose "Hart Kenobi" not because I loved it initially, but because I just wanted to quickly make a username that I could post with, and it was a combination of the OOC and IC usernames.
From the start, when I registered at SWFans, I had the idea of Hart being a Jedi from the past, having been reanimated after decades or centuries of being frozen in carbonite. I knew I wanted him to feel out of place in the present, but other than that I kept his past vague. I wanted to develop his past over time, so I actually had Hart develop temporary amnesia due to the carbonite. It was a great way to uncover cool new things about Hart's past, and even bring him to dead ends or false leads.
What he did learn is that he was actually one of Anakin Skywalker's closest childhood friends while training as Jedi younglings at the Temple, and it was actually Anakin, as Darth Vader, that froze Hart in carbonite as a trophy for the Emperor. This opened up new dynamics: Hart as a relic. He eventually split from the GJO because many of the Jedi of the GJO swore, drank, smoked, used darkness for cover, etc. This was unacceptable to someone trained during the Old Republic. Furthermore, I later decided that Hart would develop a disease from his time in carbonite, and thus need to wear his armor.
Other things I let Hart "discover" about his past was that he was actually a clone of Obi-Wan Kenobi taken from DNA taken from the site in which the Jedi Apprentice killed Darth Maul. Then I threw in the plot twist that it was actually Darth Maul's DNA that created Hart, and he surgery was performed to make Hart look like Obi-Wan, and he was brainwashed to believe he was a Kenobi. Both of these leads were false.
So that's my method of developing my character. Keeping his past vague, and slowly throwing in discoveries and flashbacks to help really flesh him out.
Of course, since I've rejoined SWFans and had to re-register, I decided to go with "Hartus Kenobi," since it sounded a little more heroic and alien. Future plans for Hartus are undecided, but in my head I've been toying around with some storylines again concerning clones.
