Post-Reset
Kyzer Rayne is the cousin of Adraudia Basillie, Queen of Onderon through his father's side, and therefore part of the royal family, but only as far as a title goes. Rather then living off the prestige of his family, he has turned away from the riches and high life of royalty and joined the ranks of the Royal Beast Riders. Within the RBR (Royal Beast Riders) he learned how to ride and maintain beasts both on the ground and in the air. He became quite an accomplished Beast Rider in his unit, but was overshadowed by the talented Jecht Tar, a man who went through the ranks of the Onderon Military like a Gizka through cheese. Kyzer was thankful that he only had to stand in Jecht's shadow for a short period of time before the man moved up higher in the ranks and left his life.
Once finishing his training, Kyzer had himself transfered to a more active unit of Beast Riders, one that operated the deepest in the jungles of Onderon and squared off against both dangerous beasts and ruthless Mandalorians the most. Within a year Kyzer attained the rank of Lieutenant and commander of the arial forces of his unit. As an arial combatant, Kyzer rides a drexl, the reptavians that have become the primary arial unit of the Beast Riders. Kyzer has let the arial forces of his unit to victory against beast, Mandalorians, and smugglers/space pirates on numerous occassions. He is one of the most decorated soldiers actively fighting.
Pre-Reset
Kyzer Rayne was an active agent of the Sons of Korhal criminal syndicate/freedom fighters. His position sent him all over the galaxy, causing trouble and recruiting new members. On one such operation, while in the middle of setting fire to Coruscant embassary on Bakura, Kyzer was knocked out and kidnapped by a rival operation. He was taken to a secret compound on an unknown world, and then heavily tortured. Eventually his mind cracked and he gave away the information about the Sons of Korhal that they wanted. For unknown reasons, they actually let him go. Perhaps there is a shred of honor still alive in the world.
Regardless, the torture had incredibly damaged his mind to the point of causing insanity. Unfit to work as a Son of Korhal anymore, Kyzer took up a mercenary lifestyle. He used the money he made to begin a weapon collection. He collected everything from blades to blasters. The most prominant items in his collection included several lightsabres, a working distruption rifle, and Azurewrath, the personal modified heavy blaster that formerly belonged to Xel-Naga.
Later in life he came into the service of the Cabal, a group of vampiric darksiders on the planet Kirrek. Kyzer became the Cabal's embassary to the human villages on Kirrek. It was his duty to ensure that people were sent to the palace for the vampire leaders to feed upon. During this time he fell in love with Raelyn Myrst, another member of the Cabal.
Kyzer remained a loyal member of the Cabal till the end of his days.
