The Lost Jedi was a pre-reset Jedi roleplaying group that was formed following the release of Episode II in May 2002. The idea for the group was founded by longtime roleplayer Marcus Elessar, who adopted the idea from the film and created the group as a mixture of Jedi young and old who had left the Greater Jedi Order for a number of in-character reasons.

Although the group was formally a breakaway faction, in practice the group never really existed independently. Instead it worked as an offshoot of the Greater Jedi Order with it's members still having full access to the latter's private forums.

The group only ever boasted a handful of Jedi at any one time. Dates concerning it's disbanding are unclear, however it is known that The Lost Jedi were no longer operating by the time of the roleplaying reset in 2005.
