Located on Ord Cestus, Clandes Industrial is a droid development and manufacturing facility operated by Cestus Cybernetics. Prior to and during the Clone Wars it produced Cestus Cybernetics designs for the Separatist Droid Army. During the Imperial era the company continued to produce security and utility droids for Cestus Cybernetics, but suffered from considerable financial difficulties after the collapse of Baktoid Industries.
Clandes Industrial was acquired along with the purchase of Baktoid Industries by the Ouishii Kajidic, and was merged into Ubrikkian Steamworks. It shouldered some of Rossum Industries' work in refurbishing old Baktoid Industries droids, and also began producing non-combat droids from Baktoid designs after the Kajidic obtained a limited licence to do so.
