History
Selfless began her life as the Republic Dreadnaught Temperance. She served in seventeen battles during the Clone Wars including the battle of Coruscant. After the Clone wars she was sold to Balmorra and served in the Balmorran Defense Fleet. In 19 BBY when the New Emperor ordered all defense fleets join the Imperial Navy, Temperance was intergrated into the Sector Fleet. 2 BBY the Temperance was decommissioned and sold for scrap. After this little is known until 5 ABY when Admiral Reshmar showed up over Mon Calamari with the Temperance and eleven other Dreadnaughts. They were Redesigned and rebuilt from the hull out. Temperance, the first of the new Alliance Mk II class, was then renamed Selfless and commissioned 5.050, under the command of an Alliance Line Captain named Aaron Nomarr. It was used mainly as a defense ship, though the modifications allowed it to contend with larger ships. It's most prominent role was in a battle in deep space with an Imperial Fleet. The Selfless defeated the Imperial Fleet, keeping the location of the Courageous secret. However, after a Gladiator frigate did a core overload and exploded, the Selfless sustained heavy damage and managed to limp away to the Courageous, where it was refitted to contain the A-Wing squadron. When the Courageous was attacked, it played a large role as the command vessel for Aaron Nomarr, and with two more Mk. II Dreadnaughts and four DP20 Gunships, managed to hold another Imperial Fleet until the arrival of the Overlord, a large Praetor-class cruiser. After the fleet was destroyed, the Selfless again sustained major damage, but was able to escape to a repair yard and get refitted for its role in the liberation of Duro.
