When Zanon O'hara augmented the body of Zereth Lancer, he kept several samples of the DNA of the post-augmented Zereth. After Zereth escaped his lab, Zanon used those DNA samples to create a clone of Zereth. This clone was created and then altered at the biological and molecular level into something completely different from Zereth. This new creation possessed blue skin, blue hair, pointed ears, icy blue eyes, and reptilian scales that covered the back of the clone's arms, shoulders, and traveled down the center of it's back. The only thing in common between the clone and Zereth is the heightened senses, muscular body, and fighting prowess. Further modifications were planned, but never enacted as Zereth Lancer and Southstar invaded Zanon's laboratory, defeated his minions, and rescued the clone from it's bacta tank. The clone was taken back to The Sith Order's palace on Corellia by Zereth, where many things were explained to it. Shortly afterwards, the clone took the name "Alexander Bane" and became a permanent resident of the Sith palace.
In time, another of Zanon's experiments surfaced. Luna Eclypse made contact with Sith Apprentice Phoenix Whyte on Corellia and gained entrance into the palace in order to meet with Zereth and Alexander. Luna came with the current location of Zanon, and immediately the trio set out to invade and destroy the madman's new lab. Shortly after invading, the trio had to deal with destroying Zanon's personal bodyguard, a droid by the name of Neo-Genesis who put up a savage fight before being destroyed by Zereth Lancer. Afterwards, the trio had to fight their way through an army of bio-engineered monstrosities created by Zanon. Overcoming this obstacle, the trio of experiments left the lab, Zanon having escaped and their prime objective lost.
Alexander Bane joined the Sisters of Chaos.
