Designated as Planetary Assault Carriers by the Ssi-Ruuvi, the Sh'Ner class is designed around both a troopship and a vessel for the capture and mass entechment of captured enemy ships. They had twenty four hangar bays, half of which carried D'Kee class Landing Ships and the other half of which could be used to berth disabled enemy ships for boarding. Each of the latter hangar bays comes equipped with its own entechment lab for speedy life energy conversion. As a combat vessel itself the Sh'Ner is lightly armed and carries no starfighters, so enemy vessels should already be disabled and the carrier should have a plentiful escort at all times.
