During their training of the clone troopers of the Galactic Republic, Jango Fett and the Cuy'val Dar revised a number of chants, including "Vode An", replacing traditional Mandalorian keywords with more appropriate Republic ones.

These chants are almost entirely the ones adapted for the clones unless otherwise stated.

The chants were sung by the clone troopers with the accompaniment of drums and horns.

Vode An
In this instance, it is presumable that Jango Fett replaced "Mandalore" with "Coruscant." Mando'a lyrics with interlinear Basic Translation Kote! Glory! Kandosii sa ka’rta, Vode an. Rage of the Shadow Warriors
The Mandalorian chant Rage of the Shadow Warriors (commonly called Dha Werda) commemorates Dha Werda Verda. It is possible that it is perhaps a translation, or a version of that ancient poem. The Dha Werda was taught by Kal Skirata, as a legacy of Mandalorian heritage to the clone troopers that he trained. This version of the Dha Werda Verda was passed on as a ritual battle chant than incorporated dance. In this form it was a fearsome display of discipline and reflex that served to warn an enemy of the power of the force that opposed them. Participants first hammered the rhythm upon their own amour and then turned to beat the complex tempo on the plates of the man next to them. Such blows would not be held in check and, if timed imprecisely, had the potential to cause injury. It was usually performed in amour, but without the helmet. See Dha Werda for more information. Although originally only taught to the clones in the charge of Kal Skirata on Kamino, the Dha Werda Verda was later passed on from clone to clone in the GAR during the Clone Wars. It is presumable that Skirata replaced "the Mandalorians'" with "The Republic's" and "Mandalore" with "Coruscant." Ka'rta Tor
"Ka'rta Tor," meaning "One Heart of Justice," was an ancient Mandalorian war chant sung in Mando'a. In this instance, it is presumable that "The Jedi's" replaced "the Mandalorians'" Kandosii sa kyr'am ast, As ruthless as Death itself, Troan teroch jetiise a'den, The pitiless face of The Jedi's wrath, Duraan vi at ara'nov. "Gra'tua Cuun" (Our Vengeance) was an ancient Mandalorian war chant sung in Mando'a. Motir ca'tra nau tracinya. Those who stand before us light the night sky in flame. Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a. The following drinking chants were popular Mando'a songs sung by Mandalorian mercenaries. Dha Verda Werda
"Dha Werda Verda" ("Warriors of the Shadow" in ancient Mando'a) was an ancient (200,000 BBY) poem that told of the final battle between the Taungs and the Zhell on Coruscant. During this battle, a volcano erupted and almost destroyed the Zhell army. Ash covered the skies of Coruscant for two years. The text for the poem was discovered written in some archaic form of Basic, encoded in one of the Roonstones, a series of treasured gems found by explorer Mungo Baobab. The crystal containing the poem eventually was placed under safekeeping in the Baobab Archives on Mandalore, where the text was translated. A version of the chant was taught to some of the clone troopers prior to the Clone Wars by their Mandalorian training instructors. No translation of the lyrics has been given; however the phrase 'Dha Werda Verda' is Mando'a.
