Ysanne Isard was an agent and later the Director of Imperial Intelligence; a ruthless and cunning woman who earned herself the nickname "Iceheart", a pun on her last name. Though she was very beautiful, she exhibited heterochromia iridium, possessing one red and one blue eye. Oddly, she bore the insignia of a Moff.

Ysanne Isard in the EU
A native of Coruscant, Ysanne was born to Imperial service.
She was the daughter of Emperor Palpatine's last Internal Security Director, Armand Isard. He was one of the first Imperial officers alerted to the theft of the plans to the first Death Star, and dispatched Ysanne to Darkknell to retrieve them. His hope was that she would be killed in the attempt, removing any possible threat to his position.
Unfortunately for him, Ysanne survived the mission, but failed to recover the datacards containing the plans. She also figured out why Armand sent her, and was so angry that she implicated Armand in the original theft. She also implicated Armand in the bombing of the Treitamma Political Center, claiming that he did it to kill Arrianya Bel Iblis so that Garm Bel Iblis would be free to join the Alliance.
Ysanne then called in Imperial Security, and had him arrested - betraying her father to Palpatine, claiming that he was going to defect to the Alliance. Palpatine had her father executed - some say she was the person who shot him - and promoted her to his vacate position.
She was later promoted to Director of Imperial Intelligence, and held the Empire together during the years following Palpatine's death at Endor.
Among certain members of the New Republic and the Imperial remnants, she is known as Iceheart. She is characterized by long, black hair, but what makes her an imposing force is her eyes. One eye is a cold, ice-blue; the other is deep red with flame-like, golden highlights.
She was also responsible for the hiding of the Super-class Star Destroyer Lusankya in an unused facility under Imperial City on Coruscant, from which she tortures and interrogates her prisoners in the infamous Lusankya prison facility. From Lusankya, she can monitor the happenings on Coruscant without notice.

Pre-Reset
Character Overview
In the beginning she allied with the Interstellar Empire (TIE) in an effort to bring order back into the Galaxy. Lead by clones of Palpatine (whom she was rumoured to be in love with) and Thrawn, she for once cast her dislike of clones and the Alien Thrawn away, and swore allegiance to them - as she saw in them the forces it would need to re-establish the New Order in the Galaxy.

Skills and Interests
Taken from the characters bio page from 2000
Trained as an Intelligence Agent, her skills are ranging from Hand-to-Hand combat, weapons (anything from Blasters to Vibro-axes, and even Lightsabers), demolitions, subversion, infiltration, encryption to more ordinary skills. She has a tendency to employ unconventional methods in a fight, and has lately taken to carrying a specially-designed weapon that is both a whip and a small flamethrower (preferably used to defend herself from the hordes of Ewoks that have swarmed the Galaxy since Endor - they look so droll when they're hopping around madly trying to extinguish the flames on their fur).
She takes a great interest in interrogating, subverting and brainwashing her prisoners. With her team of specialists, she has created a system of making human weapons to send against her enemies and catch them at their most vulnerable spots. Another topic of interest to her is medicine and bio-genetics - and the use of them to wipe out as many enemies as she might.
Weapons of choice
Taken from the characters bio page from 2000
Isard's preferred weapon is a DL-44 Blaster. She usually carries a spare miniblaster strapped to her forearm, mostly hidden under her tunic sleeve. She can also use anything from a Xerrol Nightstinger Sniper-rifle to an ordinary vibro-axe.
But she is perhaps most known for her appliance of unconventional weapons in a personal one-on-one fight. Enemies have to watch out for modified datapads, walking sticks, and in fact anything she might have access to. And while not able to feel the Force, she can indeed wield a lightsaber, if there is a need for it. Therefore, she possesses a crimson lightsaber, but as she prefers the use of more modern weapons, she usually keeps it somewhere in her desk where it accummulates dust and nothing else.
