The Black Nebula
|
The Black Nebula, founded by former Black Sun Vigo Sorsha Kasajian, is a breakaway entity of the Black Sun Organized Crime Conglomerate and operates its neferious activities over the vast reaches of the SWF galaxy.
It's interests include, but are not exclusive to Smuggling, Slicing, Money Laundering, Fencing Stolen Goods, Storing Stolen Goods, Gambling, Gunrunning, Slaving, Extortion and Assassination.
A BRIEF HISTORY IN AMBITION:
After a long and tenuous detante with rival Black Sun Vigo Sasseeri Reeouurra, Kasajian took a bold initiative and separated from the umbrella of the Black Sun Organization. Taking her lucrative holdings, assets and sizeable personell with her, Kasajian established the Black Nebula - a similar beast to its counterpart, with similar ambitions and designs, but now happily unencumbered with the niceties of organizational truce. In short, the gloves have come off between the two competitors.

LATEST UPDATE ON BN OPERATIONS!
|
With her new appointment as Hand to the Imperial Empress, Sorsha Kasajian has named a new Leader of Operations (or, dare we say, VIGO) of the Black Nebula. Much to the initial consternation and disgruntlement of the BN members, O.W. Outcast could, at first, appear the most unlikely candidtate. However, his ability as an Administrator and with a natural gift for survival, the indomintable Duro might be Kasajian's shrewdest move yet. Even with the assistance (and diligent watchfulness) of Sorsha's cousin, Kalail Rotas to aid him, OUTCAST steps into some tight shoes. It is a tough job and, given the dubious nature of his fellow Black Nebula Members, it could even be the death of him. For now, however, the Duro will lead the Organization in the direction Kasajian has initiated - ever looking to expand the Nebula's influence and prosperity in its many and varied interests.

Some Introductions
|
Xel-Naga (Real name: Nathaniel Essex)
Mercenary/Smuggler
A tough man with just the right attitude: "Back to Business". A valuable member of the Black Nebula, though his forceful and abrupt manner often land him in unpleasant confrontations with the similarly forceful and abrupt minded women of the Organization. It is a well-known fact that there is no love-loss between he and fellow BN member, Bambi Maddox, and that most recently as a result of an altercation between the two, Sorsha Kasajian tossed the hapless Naga out of a Kasajian tower window for his beligerence. He survived, of course - nothing a little bacta and some brand new legs wouldnt fix - and is back better than ever.
Molly Black -Stationed on Cloud City in the Cloud 9 Bar & Grill, works as a waitress who has the uncanny knack for information collection. With her sweet manner and pretty face, it is easy for the patrons that sally through that part of the galaxy to afford themselves of the attentive ear that Molly obligingly provides, so that she successfully might glean from them any important or noteworthy developments that her employer, the Vigo Kasajian, may appreciate. Her contribution though, of necessity, is not as visible as some other flashier vocations of the Nebula members, it is a vital and unique aspect of the Organization's success.
Kallum Romanoch is probably the youngest member of the Black Nebula Organization. Along with his youthful approach to life as being a bit of a lark in general, he brings the uncommon characteristic of the optimism of youth to a group of individuals long jaded by the harshness of criminal life in the galaxy. His role in the Organization is one that is developing. For now, he contents himself with being, to quote him precisely,an "errand boy and mischievous little bastard".

Canon History
|
Black Nebula was a short-lived offshoot of Black Sun, formed after Xizor's death. It was headed by Dequc, a low-level Jeodu operative of Black Sun who styled himself "Prince" after Xizor's death. Black Nebula's headquarters were in the Bubble Cliffs on the planet Nezmi, and many Jeodu joined the organization. Black Nebula also drew in several remnant cells of Black Sun. The organization dissolved in 4.5 ABY when Mara Jade, as her final assignment for the late Emperor, killed Dequc and other high-level leaders and destroyed the Black Nebula headquarters.
