Zark is about as close as you can get to true Force sensitivity without making the final cut. It would be perhaps more astute to say that the Force has a strange sort of ''affection'' for the man known only by his mononym. Instead, he has taken these brief flashes of insight and strange quirks of character and expertly adapted them to the "legitimate" hauling trade. Were you to ask, Zark would deny all allegations of spice usage, no matter how regularly those accusations are maybe or how commonly they may or may not be documented.

"Damn those Imperial scum! Wait, you're Rebels right? Right, damn them!"
― Zark

Zark is about as close as you can get to true Force sensitivity without making the final cut. It would be perhaps more astute to say that the Force has a strange sort of affection for the man known only by his mononym. Instead, he has taken these brief flashes of insight and strange quirks of character and expertly adapted them to the "legitimate" hauling trade. Were you to ask, Zark would deny all allegations of spice usage, no matter how regularly those accusations are made or how commonly they may or may not be documented.

Life as a Confederate
Whoever Zark is, he began operating under the alias shortly before the start of the Clone Wars. Speculation has been made that he may have been motivated by a political agenda, and in the early days, though still obviously unstable and erratic, maintained at least a tolerable air of respectability. In the waning days of the conflict, as it became more and more difficult to run Republic blockades, Zark grew more and more aloof until finally, at the climax, he went completely off grid. With the assassination of the Separatist leadership, the Z-Man was now a flagless outlaw with a bad record and collaborator sensibilities.
The Trade Runs
After almost a decade of nothing, the same Zark just appeared one day on the Corellian Run. Somehow still running his Class VI bulk freighter, and with a Jawa mystic for a co-pilot and a rare R3 astromech unit for an engineer, the freighter captain runs the routes from the Core to Bothan and Mon Cal space, though one should not mistake his rituals to denote Rebel sensibilities. It would describe him better to say that Zark is drawn to chaos, and wherever chaos goes, the cargo jockey is bound to follow sooner or later.
Force Powers
Sensory awareness, drug-induced Force dreams.
