Speculation has been made that he may have been motivated by a political agenda, and in the early days, though still obviously unstable and erratic, maintained at least a tolerable air of respectability. In the waning days of the conflict, as it became more and more difficult to run Republic blockades, Zark grew more and more aloof until finally, at the climax, he went completely off grid. - "Damn those Imperial scum! Wait, you're Rebels right? Right, damn them!"
- ―Zark
Zark is about as close as you can get to true Force sensitivity without making the final cut. It would be perhaps more astute to say that the Force has a strange sort of affection for the man known only by his mononym. Instead, he has taken these brief flashes of insight and strange quirks of character and expertly adapted them to the "legitimate" hauling trade. Were you to ask, Zark would deny all allegations of spice usage, no matter how regularly those accusations are made or how commonly they may or may not be documented.
