Steve Rogers High School is a public secondary school located in Los Santos, California. Named after a war hero, it's grades are below the national average, and it's performance in sport is largely unremarkable.
Of greater interest are particular members of it's staff and student body. A number of known - or at least suspected - mutants attend the school; nearby is Redención House, a privately-run not-for-profit hostel offering accomodation to homeless and runaway mutants, some of whom attend Steve Rogers High.
In 2009 the school board made the contravertial decision to request the resignation of Dr Thomas Harriman - a registered mutant - after significant parental pressure.
