Post-Reset
Originally a T-65B X-Wing Starfighter squadron, the Red Aces were retrained under Jaden Luka of Rogue Squadron to "convert" them to the new RZ-2 A-Wing Interceptor, as part of an experiment to test the versatility of the craft in the hands of experienced Space Superiority pilots. When Commodore Vansen Tyree was placed in command of the Challenger, the Red Aces were one of the squadrons he specifically requested be assigned aboard.
