Sevrin Forlen was a senior agent of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence under Armand Isard, and got promoted by him in 26BBE to become regional director and work in the newly re-established "Crisis Branch", a division of SBI formed during emergencies.
Charged with the task of investigating potential CIS sympathizers within the Republic government, Forlen stumbled upon information leading to the existence of the greatest traitor in the very centre of the Government - the Chancellor himself. The knowledge he took to his - untimely - death, however.

| Most information about Agent Sevrin Forlen is still classified, but what little is available has been gathered here.
Sevrin Forlen was a brilliant young mind - rushing through subadult school, he went to University two years ahead of his peers and pursued a degree in Xenobiology and Sentientology. In just two years he had his diploma in his pocket and was slated to become one of the bright stars of the University research team when he surprised everyone and stayed on - as a student. Confessing that he "simply had a love for learning, and couldn't ever see himself being finished", he went on to study engineering and technology in the same short amount of time as his first degree had taken him.
It was during the pursuit of that second degree, that the then director of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence (later to become Imperial Intelligence) took an interest in his career and lured him into the organisation by offering him an internship as a tech specialist - an offer which Sevrin took, after some hesitation. But he found "working" there to his tastes, as it catered to his needs for learning more, and in 44 BBE, with his second degree in his pocket, he entered the Bureau officially, as one of their youngest agents.

| Chronology of his life

(Dates stated are based on the Battle of Endor as the time of Reset, so it would be BBE and ABE respectively where the Battle of Yavin would have taken place in 4 BBE)
- 64 BBE - Sevrin is born on Coruscant
- 48 BBE - After receiving outstanding marks from his subadult school, he moves on to the University of Coruscant two years earlier than his peers, taking up studies in sentientology and xenobiology.
- 46 BBE - Receiving his degree in his chosen subjects (also two years faster than usual), he surprises everyone by staying on and studying engineering and technology
- 45 BBE - The Senate Bureau of Intelligence director takes an interest in Sevrin's career and he becomes their very first intern
- 44 BBE - He becomes an official agent of the SBI right after receiving his second degree
