Second year in a row the IRS has sent me a notice of deficiency; with Social Security and such looking into the fact that my social security number has been used since 94 (I was eight or so then), one might think they'd realize that perhaps I'm not such a high earner.

Social Security hasn't sent me the forms I need to get an ID.

My Birth Certificate exists only in copy form, and I need documentation to get another.

I can't get a job until all this has been straightened out.

I need a job by August.

Yeah, I need proof to get my birth certificate - logical and reasonable, really - and I can't find my baptismal record anywhere, so I need something else, like an ID and a social security card. I had a passport, but it disappeared in the mess that is my house and has never come back.

Well, I was acting as a kid when I was eight, but someone in New York was working with landscaping. And for the next ten years there's been construction, landscaping and Progressive auto services on my work history as well, ranging from $3,000 to $40,000 in a year, and the IRS continually sends me notification that I'm not paying enough in taxes.

Thankfully it just seems like someone's been selling my ssn to immigrants or workers in need of one, and not going for credit card fraud or similar; my credit is amazing, despite I'm often unemployed and have no money.

What it means is essentially I can't get a Social Security Card until I get an ID, and I can't get an ID because I don't have proof of my social security card or a birth certificate, and I can't use my birth certificate because I have neither a social security card nor an ID with which to get one.

Resolved it! Since this happened last year also, the rep looked into my file, and put a note in there, but said that this could continually happen, filling out a certain form would lessen the chances, but wouldn't be a sure thing.

But then people started replying to Nathan, Michael, and me... including Charisma Carpenter and Jennifer Hale. So I've been off work for a week - holiday, not sick. And yesterday was my last day so I called to find out what my shifts were. But I couldn't ge tin touch with anyone. Crap!

So my only option was to assume I was in at 7am this morning. So when I got in at 6:45 I checked the rota - day off!

If I'd known this was a day off I'd have slept in 'til gone 1pm, so I now have a full day I never knew about! Epic win!

5 hours?! It was just about 3 and a half hours long. I guess NBC padded it out with commercials?
