I thought I'd start this thread as a kind of glossary in characters/places/events involved in our little World of Darkness roleplay setting.
This is a work in progress, obviously.

******VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ******
As you may or may not be aware, the World of Darkness is an established roleplaying setting created by White Wolf. We are fortunate that White Wolf have given us a rich and detailed background to work with. In light of this, we would request that before you begin taking an active role in our WoD setting, you do at least some basic research on the character you will be playing. The species of the World of Darkness, and their various clans and tribes, all have their merits and flaws, their strengths and weaknesses, and their own unique histories and views on the world. Please familiarize yourself with these things before you create your character.

Northern America is a much-contested and largely divided area. California is the "Anarch Free State", primarily Anarch controlled, with the occasional Sabat incursion wiped off pretty quickly. The Sabbat have a strong presence in Mexico City and Miami, while the Camarilla hold sway over Atlanta and much of the East Coat.
