Alliera was born on Concord Dawn the year the Republic fell, 19 BBY, to a pair of Mandalorian Parents that loved her dearly. For her childhood and most of her teen years, she was trained as all Mandalorians are in the arts their parents know. While her father was the typical Mandalorian, Alliera's mother was a pilot, so Ally grew to be as familiar in the cockpit of a starship as she was in her Armor. During this time, the Empire ruled Mandalore with the same iron fist that it ruled everything else, and the young girl chaffed under this rule. Abuse of Non-humans, rumors of slavery in other parts of the outer rim, and many other crimes of the Empire made Alliera all the more accepting of the supposed Terrorist group that started to pop up.

In 2 BBY, this all came to a head, with local rebel agents working to see if they could inspire some Mandalorians to join the cause. They found Alliera, who became a pilot, and used her combat skills to assist ground forces when needed. For the first two years of the war, Alliera was shuffled from one squadron command to another, as the Rebel Alliance strengthened itself and became more and more organized. Alliera worked for both these various squadrons and various field commanders, learning to fly many craft as she had to make do with what she had on hand. In the months before the battle of Scarif, Alliera was shuffled into Blue Squadron, and given a relatively modern T-65B. Alliera flew with Blue Squadron at the Battles of Scarif and Yavin, her growing level of experiance and skill keeping her alive, and allowing her to contribute to the battle. Alliera evacuated Yavin 4 with the rest of the Rebel Alliance, and with the casualties of the two battles, the squadron shuffling began again.

The years after Yavin, Alliera was on the run with the rest of Blue Squadron and the Rebel Alliance, fighting to gain supplies and keep her fellow pilots alive. Working on countless Guerilla Attacks, Alliera’s skill as a pilot only grew with these experiances. Eventually, Alliera settled with the rest of Blue Squadron on Hoth, practicing with the Snow Speeders, when Blue Squadron wasn’t out on a mission, or she wasn’t attached to a commando raid. Eventually, Hoth got attacked, with Alliera part of the escort effort to keep as many transports flying as possible. Alliera lost a fair few friends that day, both in the various fallen transports or in the holding action. Alliera and Surviving Blue Squadron pilots, now a family in all but name, were folded into Green Squadron. This new Green Squadron used heavier fighters, Y-Wings and eventually B-Wings. During this time, Alliera saw action against Task Force Vengeance, even in the last battle that ended the life of Admiral Senn and the Shipyard he targeted.
Alliera’s life was changed at Endor, a catastrophic battle, called a victory for the death of the Emperor and the destruction of the 2nd Death Star. It wasn’t a victory for Alliera, the other survivors of the old Blue Squadron were gone, and something caused her to feel this loss even more deeply than she though possible. Rehabilitation didn’t seem to work, so Alliera was placed on something akin to medical leave. It was here that she discovered the Jedi, and the Jedi discovered her. It turned out that Alliera was force sensitive, and had potential to be a Jedi. The promise of inner peace, learning more about the force got Alliera in the door. Alliera resigned from the Rebel Alliance, initially meant as a temporary measure.

For the next few years, Alliera trained under the surviving Jedi, and helped them as they eventually settled Ossus. Alliera became a Jedi Knight, and peace returned to her, in some fashion. Alliera was even going to return to active service, but news of the Starkiller Weapon reached her, and she didn’t know what to think. Her Squadron, her family, had given everything to stop the original two Death Stars from firing…and now the Nation she had signed up for all those years ago had become no different then the Empire? Or was it a desperate measure to force the Empire to the negotiating table. Either way, Alliera’s choice to rejoin the Alliance is on hold for now, and she’s somewhat contented herself with Jedi Business…even thinking about opening up a flight school for Jedi that didn’t know how to fly beforehand.
