Childhood - Slavery.

Asesha Raa was born on the grassland world of Shili, the Togruta Homeworld, though it wouldn’t be her homeworld for too long. At the age of four a group of slavers raided her village and took almost all young children with them to be sold off as slaves. The slavers brought their most recent haul to different worlds within Hutt controlled space and the first time that she was sold off it was on the world Toydaria, before being given away as a gift to a Hutt on Nal Hutta who brought her to Nar Shaddaa and sold her at the age of five for barely a credit as a sign of good faith to a different Hutt.

However, it seemed that lady luck was starting to take pity of Asesha and blessed her with a miniscule amount of luck in that after three months after what would have been her fifth birthday, a group of Bounty Hunters kicked down the doors and shot up the Hutt’s abode, killing everyone who worked with or for the Hutt. Taking the opportunity that had arose she followed the group that had killed her owner as stealthily as she could, though after accidentally pushing over a garbage can they found her.

One of the Hunters raised her blaster to eliminate a potential witness, however she was stopped by one of her colleagues who told her that they do not kill children, especially not starved ones.

The man, a Zabrak called Eodu took her in and brought her along to the guild and gave her her first proper meal in a long time. After having eaten she was asked if she knew where her parents were or if she had any. After she had managed to tell him what had happened to her over a year ago, between a lot of tears and ugly crying from her part, he decided to take the young girl home to give her a place to stay, having lost his own son and wife a few years earlier.

The first few weeks she just spent recovering from the year-long ordeal she had been put through, regaining her weight that had been starved away and even starting to smile again.

Eodu became her new father figure, however due to his work as a Bounty Hunter, it meant that he’d be gone for a few weeks at a time before being back home for a few weeks, this meant that others from the Guild would occasionally check in on her from day to day.

At the age of ten she started to spend some time within the guild, looking around and listening to people as they came and went, setting the roots for a growing interest in the career of Bounty Hunting.

Teen years - Working for the Guild.
Having grown up around a guild of Bounty Hunters it was no surprise to anyone that she’d eventually ask to come along on contracts, though every time she asked to come along she was always shut down, for equally obvious reasons.

At the age of thirteen she had begun to work within the guild, spending time cleaning up in the different areas to eavesdrop on stories and sate her growing hunger for adventure and with every story she overheard she wanted to tag along more and more. However, she kept getting shut down, time and time again, and those who had spent time checking in on her when she was younger kept telling her the same thing, that the stories she overheard was almost always exaggerated and that she wasn’t going to hear the stories where it didn’t go as planned.

But, that didn’t deter her and at the age of sixteen the guild leader finally caved, but, instead of letting her come along on a bounty, he gave her a handful of small tags and a list of names, she were to deliver the tags to their designated owner and collect the one they had.

While it wasn’t what she had originally asked for, it for sure beat having to clean the tables after a group of Trandoshans had spent their latest paycheck at.

So, off she went and when she eventually returned she had a small bag rustling with tags that had been collected from their respective hunters. Eventually this became a regular thing where she’d be sent out to deliver and collect from Hunters who for one reason or another couldn’t return to the Guild to do so.

After a year or so of delivering and collecting tags she met a Mirialan Huntress named Cezuki, soon enough she found herself talking to her more and more, even when it wasn’t on Guild business. This would spark her first relationship, and like a flash fire it burst into something intense way too fast for the two.

However during the brief period that the two were together Cezuki brought her along on a few different contracts to different worlds, from Coruscant to Corellia and even Felucia twice, however, like a raging fire, it consumed its fuel too fast and eventually it died out as fast as it had begun.

The last time she saw Cezuki was when she delivered a tag for a job from which Cezuki did not return from.

Adulthood - Current Day.
By the time she had turned twenty, she was one of the more favored Agents of the guild, hunters coming in and taking jobs solely from Asesha meant that she started to make more and more Credits and it wasn’t long after that she was one of the Agents who brought in the most Credits to the guild.

It eventually got to a point where one day she had a discussion with the Guild Leader, who had been the one who sent her out on the first run of her life four years prior, about setting up a small, secondary office somewhere, a place where Hunters could stop by if it was closer for them and after mentioning it a few times to him he eventually agreed.

Three weeks later, Asesha had packed a few bags of essentials and traveled to Coruscant. Thanks to connections from her employer she had managed to get a rather decent apartment, not a top of the line one close to the Imperial Palace, though that was one of her goals.

At first it almost looked like the second area was going to prove to be a failure, until after some local politicians had come in and asked to have a person, relocated from their current locale.

This led to Asesha not only just passing through tags that came from the Guild Leader on Nar Shaddaa, but also setting up bounties of her own, coming from people who had too much money in their pockets and held onto grudges for way too long.

After six years of operating on Coruscant, she managed to sell the apartment she operated out of and moved even closer to her final goal, which was still one of the Apartments that was closest to the Imperial Palace, but at least she could see it from where she lived now, and the view from the top floor wasn’t all too shabby either.
