Character Background

• Shuvin's family was in deep debt and in danger of becoming enslaved when she was a child.
• She left home when she was twelve to find her fortune as a singer or actress, but was enslaved soon after.
• Shuvin has worked on many worlds, but spent the longest (about two and a half years) on Syragor.
• Due to her past, she has skills in many varied tasks, from sewing and needlework to translation to dancing to her largest talent: working with machines.
• After a couple years working in a scrapyard/bargain shipyard, Shuvin sold Alderaan to Ben Merasska and included herself to the bill, becoming his mechanic.

Raw Material

• Shuvin has been exposed to many things in her life, but has somehow managed to retain a cheery, innocent view of the galaxy.
• Her biological family is a topic Shuvin avoids due to disaffection and disappointment.
• Shuvin is sexually active and enjoys the attention she gets due to her bright and vivacious personality. She's confused by age of consent and minority/majority laws, due to living in places with little in the way of protective laws.
• Shuvin looks up to Ben Merasska and has something of a crush on him but has not seriously entertained the idea of romance with anyone.
• All of her skills were learned through practice and reading; she has no formal education of any kind.

• Cerie Moreau is First Mate aboard Alderaan, a title Shuvin gladly gave away. A lot like a big sister.

• Deemo is Shuvin's astromech droid she stole from...
• Lux is the poor sod she stole Deemo from. As such, both he and Shuvin due to the circumstances are friendly but strained with each other.
