Character Background:

• Zwane traveled from his homeworld Thakwaa to the galactic core to become an actor. Being young and idealistic, when the Galactic Civil War broke out he found himself volunteering for the newly founded Rebel Alliance.
• Within the Rebel Alliance Zane, as his friends called him, became well known as a pilot. His one and only other personality was incredible behind the controls of a starfighter. He flew in Green Squadron during the battle of the second Death Star.
• When the Peace Treaty was signed Zane opted to not join the Alliance that came to replace the Rebels. He tried to pick up his life where he left off and returned to acting. He managed a few small commercial gigs but ultimately failed to break out. He returned to the Alliance when he had no other options.
• Stationed on Jovan Station, Zane has been tasked with getting back into fighting shape with his new teammates in the elite Titan Squadron.

Raw Material:

• The Thakwaash are a species that possess several personalities, that usually govern different actions and events in their lives. During his time on his homeworld Zwane was an outcast for not having any other personalities. He discovered his one and only personality thus far while piloting; a personality that is quiet and focused on the task, able to think strategically, and work well with others. Outside of a cockpit he is few of those things.
• Although he lead a successful military career with the Rebel Alliance, after the battle of the second Death Star nothing compared. He also struggled with his dual personalities feeling like a completely different person was the one that everyone revered as the war hero.
• Zane has become a bitter alcoholic and has little self respect for himself.

What manner of ship does Zane fly? X-Wing? Joey could really use a mentor among the squadron to look up to.

Zane has flown quite a few different starfighters. He's a natural in the cockpit. Formerly being part of Green Squadron means he's mostly flown X-Wings and A-Wings. As for a mentor, that's a pretty reasonable request. Zane has a lot to pass on as the old guy on the Squadron.
